Again.

So it seems my little Reagan has yet another cold/cough. We knew she had something brewing because she all but lost her voice a couple times this weekend. Granted, the girl talks a LOT, but not enough to lose her voice. Anyway...Monday night she offered us about 6 hours of sleep. Tuesday night she offered us about 4 hours of sleep. It isn't that she wants to get up and be rocked as much as she coughs and coughs and coughs and just can't rest. If the coughing doesn't keep us awake, her uncomfortable cries and moans certainly do. So we are all feeling a bit worse for wear and I'm really afraid its only a matter of time till we all catch her bug. So Reagan is staying home with Daddy this morning and Mommy this afternoon. Tomorrow she'll be home as well as that's my normal day off. Hopefully that will be enough time for her to be well on her way to recovery! If not, we'll make sure to take her to the doctor. We aren't the kind of people to rush to the doctor for everything. And I KNOW there are many differing opinions and positions on this matter, but we don't like having her on antibiotics for every little illness either. Obviously, if she needs it and is running a fever we take her in. But for now, we are doing okay with over-the-counter meds and some extra tlc! In the meantime, the part of my brain that normally forms paragraphs is sleep-deprived so that results in blobs like this. Yes, I said blobs and I meant blobs. Blobby blogs. Bloggy blobs. This is yet more training for life with a newborn.
