Tot School - Letter M

Reagan was very excited for the return of Tot School! We took December off. Now, I fully intended to do an advent activity or craft every day. Had it all planned out. Had all the materials ready. People, I seem to fall off the bandwagon whenever December hits. We did a few of the things. Not nearly all of them. I felt guilty. I sort of still do. I just do not have the steam to do something every single day for a month, it seems. Pathetic, really. Just keeping it real.

On our first week back, we studied the MARVELOUS letter M.

First we colored a MONKEY. Reagan has a nifty way of coloring all of her pictures lately. At least she is coloring the actual picture and staying somewhat inside the lines.

Secondly, we did some worksheets. Namely, a MATCHING worksheet and a MORE and less worksheet. Matching was easy. More and less was a new topic for her. But she did pretty well.

We also worked with a new tool that Reagan got for Christmas. I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s wonderful because it is a dry erase board. She can trace letters and practice them on her own without wasting countless pieces of paper. She’s getting better at writing more of the letters on her own.

And lastly, for our letter wall, we did a MONKEY face. In the process, someone may or may not have gotten a little MARKER on her face!

Letter M was MAGNIFICENT!
