More Adventures With Sears

Apparently, we are suckers for punishment. On Tuesday, we went back to the Sears photo department. Yes, the same one with look-on-the-internet-kid. This time we knew which camera we wanted. To my surprise, they actually had it on display (which of course did not work). I had done some research and knew what price I was willing to pay.

When I saw the price on the shelf, I asked the new kid if it was negotiable. Hubby looked for a rock to crawl under (difficult to do with baby and giant stroller). New kid goes off and clicks around on a computer for what seemed like an excessive amount of time. He doesn't realize that shopping time with a non-crying baby is a hot commodity in my life. Many minutes later he returns to tell me that all the Sears stores are selling it for that price. Ignoring the fact that that didn't answer my question at all, I smiled and said "I'll go look on the internet."

In the end, look-on-the-internet-kid was right. I'm going to buy it online and save myself somewhere in the realm of $100.

Which reminds me, the people at Target probably now think of me as the coupon queen. My initial total was $76.00. After all 20 coupons (not exaggerating), my new total was $26.00. I rock...in a slightly embarrassing way.
