A month and a half later...

Okay, I didn't intend to be absent quite so long, but such is life.

Reagan Hope was born on November 22 at 9:02 a.m. I was induced November 21 at 6 so it was a long long long labor. She was taken by c-section because she was a bit on the HUMUNGOUS side...9 pounds 8.5 ounces is humungous to me anyway. But she was, and is, extremely healthy and we are THRILLED to have her! We are still digital camera-less, but I can tell you she is terribly cute. :) She is now 6 weeks old and growing out of clothes. Yikes. This parenthood thing is quite an experience, but we are learning and enjoying it. I'll tell you more about our lessons sometime. Reagan was recently diagnosed as colic. I really half thought her crying was normal, but the doctor tells me she has a textbook case. She is fussy in the evenings but we are handling it pretty well. The good news is that she will grow out of it sometime in the next several months. In the meantime we will just hang on and comfort her as much as we can. At least she isn't in pain!

Other than that, life continues on. I go back to work at the end of January...assuming Patty hasn't stolen my job. :) (insert nervous laughter here) I was named chairperson of our worship committee and Brian was named treasurer of the deacons at our church so we have plenty on our plates where that is concerned.

I am also happy to report that pierre (my brother) has gotten his act together and proposed to his girlfriend of many years (5 I think). She said yes so we are very happy for them and looking forward to a wedding in the future.

I hope you are all doing well and that you had wonderful Christmases. I also wish you a very happy New Year. God is faithful in all the good times and bad and I pray you have witnessed this in your lives both now and in the years to come.

I'm not sure when I will get a hold of Hubby's laptop again, but please check back for more posts.

So it's been less than 3 years, thank you very much. Trying to make me look like a slacker.
