Quack quack quack

I said I'd never do it. I didn't care how I felt, I wasn't going to do it. I didn't care what it cost me, I wasn't going to do it. No way. Not me. I was going to be different. I was going to be the one that everyone looked at and WISHED they could emulate.

I failed.

I have developed a bad case of the pregnant waddle. I don't think I really even saw it coming. It kinda snuck up on me. All of a sudden one day hubby is on the floor... laughing.

What's so funny?
You.
Why am I so funny?
You're waddling.
No, I most certainly am not.
Oh yes, you most definitely are.

Of course his comments landed me straight on the couch for the rest of the evening wherein he was forced to wait on me hand and foot as punishment for his laughter.

We go on walks in the evenings and I now fully admit (cuz I have to) that I waddle. I never understood WHY women waddled when they got pregnant. I get it now. The body just doesn't work the way it used to. I am told it all goes back to normal...sort of...but I have my doubts.
