I have always had terrible allergies. For the most part they leave me alone till late summer and early fall. But sometime around September/October ragweed attacks me - completely unprovoked.
This has interrupted my marital bliss as hubby is a windows-open-as-often-as-possible kind of guy and I am a please-close-them-achoo-I-can't-breathe-achoo kind of girl.
Since it is so early in the summer, and the weather outside has been beautiful, I agreed to sleep with the windows open. While I slumbered in the fresh air blowing through my classy Pella windows, somehow I lost my early summer pollen immunity. I woke up at 5:00 a.m. with a sore right side of my throat.
At 5:40 a.m. I rolled over.
J - We are never sleeping with the windows open again.
B - Why not?
J - I have a terribly sore throat.
B - Drink some water
J - I did...it didn't help.
B - You'll feel better later.
J - I don't think so.
It is officially "later" and I do not feel better. >:(
I'm not complaining - just attempting to throw myself a very small pity party...yet again.
