Two unrelated thoughts

I am quite possibly the most intolerant person when it comes to temperature fluctuations. Today, for example, is HOT outside. Its probably "only" 80 degrees. But this is sweltering to me. If I were to go home and find that the house was 72 degrees, I would immediately pull out a blanket to wrap around my body. It makes no sense. I pity my poor hubby because truly I have made it impossible for him to keep me warm or cool.

While walking down the sidewalk on my way to the post office today, I encountered a most annoying object. What annoys me more is that someone not only bought this object, but also had the gall to use it in a public place. It was a triple stroller. Now ordinarily, these objects are half a mile long and one child wide. Some brilliant manufacturer decided that anyone with three children should apparently have uninhibited use of the entire sidewalk, so they made a triple stroller one mile wide and one child deep. You can see it coming a mile away - at least a few blocks. Most sidewalks aren't even wide enough to accommodate such an atrocity. I had to practically plaster myself to the side of some random brick building just to avoid being run over by this preposterous buggy. To make matters worse, the woman piloting the rig had filled the middle seat with a cabbage patch doll. I think its time we add some material to school curriculums that teaches common sense.
