I'm not tired...at least not sleepy tired.
First, Reagan had her 6 month checkup yesterday. She's awesome. No seriously. He said that. She is above-average for everything except the size of her head. Why the size of her head matters I don't know, but they measure it. She's actually "tall" for her age which is fascinating to Hubby and I. He asked me repeatedly, "Did the doctor really say she was in the 90th percentile for height?" Yes. We are not tall people so once again, we have no idea how this happened. He marveled at the way she held her head, made great eye contact, sat up in my lap, stood up on my lap, etc. Reagan got a couple shots. All those times when I missed when I was trimming her fingernails must have paid off. She has a high tolerance for pain. She cried when they did the actual shot part but was totally calm and relaxed before the nurses got out of the room. Rock on! She slept beautifully much of the day and was pretty well mannered the rest of the day. We even managed to avoid a fever this go round!
Work is absolutely insane right now. Instead of merely coming in and doing my work, I have to come in and immediately ask my boss what the priority is for the day. I'm fortunate if I get that much done. I don't know what exactly has happened to make my life so exciting here but I can't say that I'm a fan. I am so busy during the day that I go home completely exhausted. I'm getting enough sleep because Reagan is doing really quite well at night lately (watch that bite me in the butt), but my brain is so tired by day's end that I am close to vegetative.
This weekend promises to be a much-needed break from the rush. No big plans of any kind. I'm not even on praise team! At any rate, I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
