When the brain power is low, the writing suffers...expect nothing great

Reagan continues in her odd behavior of not sleeping well at night. Lately we have been getting up at night approximately 4 - 8 (or more) times to plug her pacifier back in her mouth. And no, she has not figured out how to do that yet - which isn’t for lack of trying on the part of Hubby and I. Given all the obvious signs, it has taken me 3 weeks to reach the following conclusion: Reagan is indeed teething. Being the sleuth that I am, I have a newfound patience for her middle of the night howls. The child is actually in some level of pain. This became most clear to me at 4:30 this morning when I was trying to help her get back to sleep and she wanted to bite my finger instead of her pacifier. Lightbulb moments can be alarmingly bright at 4:30 a.m. If I could have pulled my hand out of her mouth, I would have literally smacked myself in the forehead.

Side note, I may have slightly injured, if not greatly angered, dear Hubby last night in one of my frustrated getting-out-of-bed-for-the-fourth-time moments. I was flinging the covers back with a vengeance and apparently he was also getting up. I hit him, though I don’t know where. I hurt him, though I don’t know how bad (he yelled “ow”). Apparently this beating was the last straw for him because he spent the rest of the night on the couch. Sorry honey! :(

Mr. Bossman has returned from running the Boston Marathon. The agreement was that all of my coworkers and I would wear our running shoes to work to celebrate his return in a slightly weird and ridiculous way. I wore my Nikes. Everyone else wore their good shoes. Jokes on me. Fortunately, for me, I brought my own good shoes along. This marks the last time I wear anything out of the normal at their request.

On Saturday Reagan and I went on very long walks (<– plural). I managed to download many new pictures for your viewing pleasure. We both took a nap - she in her crib and me on the couch. I made homemade pizza which stuck to the pan badly (never buying that brand of non-stick spray again). Sunday we attended church. Reagan was model child for the morning service. She fell asleep silently as she watched the ceiling fans (her new favorite fascination). She startled awake but did not cry. It was impressive. I take all the credit. Sunday afternoon included another long nap for all of us, which was Providence given last night’s sleeping schedule. Sunday evening we attended the Gems service and heard a REALLY GOOD SERMON! I liked it a lot. After the great sermon, we attended the viewing of the Amazing Race at our Pastor’s house. We had some trouble getting Reagan to bed, and I so hoped that meant she would sleep really hard once she got to sleep. Not so much. But I am apparently able to survive on 3 non-consecutive hours of sleep. And here it is, Monday morning.

Oops. I fixed it. Although, my typo was oddly true.
