New Super WalMart Review

I'm not so much a WalMart fan. I don't really know why but I just don't like them that much. That being said, they are pretty much a necessity in our life. My verysmalltown has for years held tightly to our claim to fame - world's smallest WalMart. That's not an exaggeration - it was even on Jeopardy once. Anyway...after much disagreement, the powers that be decided we needed a new WalMart - a SUPER WalMart. Honestly, having the world's smallest WalMart is not enjoyable. The aisles were 1.5 carts wide. They had one kind and one kind only of any given item. Didn't like that toilet brush? Too bad. It was that or nothing. It was dirty. It was dark. It was old. It was time. Even I will admit that.

Months ago they started constructing our new Super WalMart. And months ago the old one decided not to order new product so they would have to move as little as possible to the new digs. You can imagine how annoying it was to shop at the old one. Our suffering is now over. The new Super WalMart opened Wednesday night. I had grand intentions of staging my quiet protest by not going. But they got me because we had lived for many months without any WalMart (seeing as how the old one seemingly ran out of everything I needed). So last night, we cracked.

This is what I have to say about it:

Its fine. They have cheap bananas. Two carts fit in one aisle.

And lest we lose our 'claim to fame' we now have (still not exaggerating) the world's smallest Super WalMart.

I agree-it's still pretty small and looks like a warehouse inside. They must have gone broke after the dutch front was done:)

Aw nuts. I meant to say something about the dutch front. It is warehouse-ish indeed!
