Friday night Hubby and I left work and headed straight for "the big City". We had a number of errands to run that demanded our attention. First stop - furniture store. After many hours of speculation and slight fear we hoped to be able to pick up our dresser - meaning, would it fit in the back of our Ford Freestyle. We certainly bought the right car because the dresser fit and we were, effectively, thrilled. Not to mention I walked all the way through the furniture store to grab a handful of their free, still warm and gooey, cookies. After our success at the furniture store we moved on to Babies R Us wherein we picked up something I was able to order and pay for over the phone. Normally I don't do such things but they only had one left and it wasn't possible to buy it online so I was forced to buy it site-unseen. But they got my order right and we were pleased. Next stop - Best Buy. Note: Best Buy is only about 5% more helpful than lazy-Sears-guy. We did not buy a digital camera and I beginning to think I am going to need to become a digital camera expert in order to know exactly which one we should buy. Time to hit the internet I guess. And finally we went to Cold Stone Creamery for a special treat. We ordered the Gotta Have It size which means we each got a bowl of ice cream - the size of a softball. We each ate half and then decided we needed to go home and eat something that contained no sugar.
Up.
Sunday I told Hubby that I would like to go for a walk. So we set out at approximately 4 p.m. - both heavily bundled. I was beginning to feel really proud of myself because I kept up a good pace and was feeling pretty good. Until... There's this girl in our church who is at least 6 months pregnant. She went running past us. RUNNING!!! Hubby and I stopped on the sidewalk. He gave me the once over and then asked "shall we run?" I was flabbergasted and all I could say was "sick, that's just sick".
Down.
