Huzzah!

It is FRIDAY. It is gorgeous outside. It has been a stressful week at work. I am in desperate need of a weekend. So guess who gets the day off work today!!!??? No, its not me. Brian is piddling yet again. He's good at it. But I would like the chance to develop some day-off-piddling skills. Sigh. Maybe someday.

How many NBA basketball players have YOU seen today??? Well, by the end of the day I will have probably beaten you. I was informed (not asked - just told) that we are going to the Pella v. Pella Christian basketball game tonight. Apparently Kyle Korver is going to be there this evening so they can retire his high school jersey. Rumors are flying that Alan Iverson is going to be there as well, but most people think that is just ridiculousness.

But going to a high school basketball game should prove to be a great deal more interesting than the activities I had planned for the evening. If anyone wants to have a rip-roaring good time they should come over on Saturday - we will be cleaning out closets. I have the profound and overwhelming urge to organize something. Last night it was a few drawers in the kitchen and one cupboard. I resisted the urge to get carried away with organizing. Yes, it is a sickness. I can't help it.

I also have this urge to buy myself a cell phone. I want one of those that you have to flip to open and close. Soooo cool. Brian has one and he won't even let me play with it. :( Bully. I digress. I could easily become one of those people who calls someone all the time. Yeah, I know I make fun of those people. I make fun of myself all the time, this would fit right in.

So this little store that I can see outside my window at work is having a sale. I see something I want in the window. If I had a pair of binoculars I could see the price tag. :P Rats. Maybe if I call the clerk she will hold it up to the window and tell me just how much it is. Would that be considered a new level of crazy or lazy?
