1. Brick sidewalks. Who was the brilliant person that decided the aesthetic appeal of a brick sidewalk was worth the price of my health? They are slick all the time. ALL THE TIME.
2. The IRS. Yeah. The IRS. I hate this "Attention: you can print this form off the internet but you can't send it in. The one you send in must be on an official form (a red IRS form)". Okay, fine. So we have to use the red IRS-printed form. Fine. But WHY ONE EARTH are they available in any way, shape or form on the internet??? Is this just to tease me?? Just to test my patience?? I think so.
3. People who don't understand the word "No". There are people in our lives when told "No" they just continue on with their behavior. They are testing our limits. While this behavior is mildly amusing coming from 2 year olds, I have reached the conclusion that 20% of the population never mature OUT of this stage. I blame their parents. I blame their schools. I blame their daycare providers. I blame their friends. I blame their spouses. But most of all, I just blame their brains.
4. Curtain Industry. I have decided it is almost completely impossible to buy an attractive set of drapes. I need something really cool and modern for my basement. Apparently this does not exist. No one else in America wants cool and modern drapes for their basement. Its official. My definition of cool and modern in no way connects with floral prints or plaids of any kind. I don't think those are ugly - tho some are outrageously so. They just won't work in my basement. I have even thought about making my own - but then I realized the end product would probably be as far from cool as is absolutely possible. :P I give up.

Hi Jean. I think I finally figured this thing out, blogging, I mean. Hey, you are almost sounding grouchy with all this complaining, and I know that is not really you, so now we need to hear about what you like, besides the gripes. Do I leave my name here or what? Will others be able to see what I write? Hmmm.....
